Family portraits

I recently completed a workshop on basic portrait lighting taught by a friend, excellent teacher  and photographer Carol Dragon. This was my initial attempt to utilize some of the techniques we learned and I look forward to learning more advanced techniques. If you’re in New York I highly recommend Carol’s workshops  in Photoshop, Lightroom, digital photography and lighting as well as her wonderful images at caroldragon.com. I recruited as several family members who would be patient enough to sit for me and I am generally pleased with the results. The pictures were lit with a single flash (umbrella or grid) and a flat white reflector. Any comments and suggestions are welcome.
